Cloud Integration Engineer

Specializing in enterprise cloud transformation and legacy ERP integration. I build observable, zero-touch data pipelines using Python, .NET, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Fabric) to replace manual workflows at scale.

Experience

Systems AnalystSaint Mary's University

Sep 2022 – Present

Halifax, NS

Led a cross-functional engineering team to architect and maintain enterprise-grade ETL pipelines, directing the institutional migration from legacy SAP environments to Microsoft Fabric and Power Automate. Built a real-time observability framework to securely distribute 250+ high-compliance documents daily while establishing a unified data source for strategic institutional analytics.

Apr 2021 – Sep 2022

Halifax, NS

Engineered PL/SQL automation scripts that eliminated manual underwriting bottlenecks in the regional auto-insurance pipeline. Integrated third-party data APIs into core tracking software within an Agile environment, significantly accelerating underwriting throughput and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Sep 2021 – Jan 2022

Dartmouth, NS

Developed a full-stack recycling delivery system and dynamic inventory management tools utilizing JavaScript, Python, and AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, S3).

Software Developer / Research AssistantSaint Mary's University

Jan 2021 – Aug 2021

Halifax, NS

Built automated data extraction pipelines using Python (Selenium, Beautiful Soup) to scrape, process, and analyze 200,000+ records for computational Ph.D. research, directly feeding into structured datasets for algorithmic evaluation.

Projects

SAP-to-Microsoft Fabric Cloud Migration

Problem

The university operated on fragmented legacy SAP workflows with no centralized data platform, causing manual document distribution bottlenecks and siloed analytics across departments.

Solution

Led a cross-functional team to migrate operations to Power Automate and Microsoft Fabric, automating 100+ daily document distributions, building ETL pipelines from Oracle and Crystal Reports, and delivering real-time Power BI dashboards for government-mandated reporting.

Automated Payment Processing System

Problem

Touchnet deposit and application fee processing required manual intervention to reconcile payments with Banner ERP tables, creating delays and data integrity risks during peak enrollment periods.

Solution

Designed an end-to-end automated pipeline using Shell and PL/SQL scripts integrated with Ellucian CRM SaaS API for identity resolution, with custom Banner 9 tables for financial data management and enforced referential constraints.

Chess Data Automation Pipeline

Problem

A Ph.D. researcher needed to analyze hundreds of thousands of chess games with a computational engine, but manual download, upload, and analysis was infeasible at the required scale.

Solution

Built a multi-stage Python automation using Selenium WebDriver and Beautiful Soup to scrape 200,000 PGN games, pipeline them through Lichess, and store Stockfish engine analysis outputs in structured Excel datasets.
